    Why Did I Write This Book?

    There are a few reasons why I started writing this book:

    #Reason 1: Estate Planning remains a difficult market to enter if you don't know how - I remember my own experience of approaching various high net worth clients. Although sometimes they would listen and agree to my types of products, I often faced another obstacle, convincing their other advisors like lawyers and accountants. Many times, it was like speaking a different language to them, always ending with a “No, this is not needed for them”. 

    #Reason 2: The Estate Planning theories out there are not applicable to advisors - What I came to realize over time was that a lot of theories there were taught in the market regarding Estate Planning were NOT truly for advisors. They were not meant to be used by advisors to assist clients. Instead, most of them were there to be used by tax lawyers and accountants with regards to their line of work, such as providing legal tax advice and drafting of the Will. 

    #Reason 3: Estate Planning opens up big cases but you only have ONE shot to convince these HNW clients - Clients on that level are very precise on what they want and they have other “life” advisors involved like lawyers and accountants that you need to manage carefully. Because so few advisors handle cases of such magnitude, there are very few out there who actually know what to do when it comes to handling big case sizes! I truly want every single advisor to be ready when meeting these sort of clients.

    Who is Dr. Sanjay Tolani?
    Dr Sanjay Tolani, a 20 - year member of the Million Dollar Round Table – The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, with 2 Court of the Table & 16 Top of the Table honors.

    In 2019, he achieved more than 100 MDRT alone and in 2020, his target is to do 365 MDRT.
     
    He became the youngest member in 2003 at the age of 19 and then qualified as the Youngest Life Member in 2012 at the age of 28. He also became the Youngest Managing Director of an Insurance Brokerage in the Middle East.
    Will Dr. Sanjay's Book be relevant to us?
    Absolutely! This is because even though Dr. Sanjay is based in Dubai, his clients come from 53 countries including Singapore and Malaysia.     The books will be on a first come first serve basis. We did not print a large amount because we don't have sufficient space to store it.
